FRM, aka Footwell module or BCM,  often fail in BMW and Mini vehicles. Symptoms include headlights can't be controlled, the power windows don't work, turn signals don't work. Scan tools will not connect to the module. It may have been caused by a weak or bad battery, Jump Starting the vehicle,  shorts in the wiring or a failed coding/programming attempt. It's almost always a software not hardware issue that can be recovered. Don't replace with a new module. FRM's that still have some data intact can be recovered and will have original data restored, plug and play, no further coding required.  

    In the rare event data been wiped or not recoverable, FRM will be recovered and functional, but I highly recommend to be coded to match your vehicle for proper operation and avoid future issues.

 Modules that have water damaged, may need to be replaced. Modules that have short circuit codes, need to get circuits repaired first. We have some FRM's in stock.

 This is a service/repair, you need to provide your damaged/defective FRM module.
